Sloppy Joe — the app that becomes whatever

Sloppy Joe is a deliberately blank phone app that your own coding agent turns into whatever you describe. You connect the agent through an MCP server with a pairing code and describe the app in plain words; your prompts stay on your machine, and the code is tested on Joe's own devices before the build reaches your phone. Its Operator mode puts a coding agent on the phone itself, with every change waiting for your fingerprint, face or PIN and new code that undoes itself if it keeps crashing. It is in this list because, as the Operator page puts it, the same mob framework is underneath: GenericJam's BEAM-on-device mobile stack, which made the May 2026 list (QFM114).
